Summary
The Pharmacy Courier is the face of the pharmacy outside of our walls. The courier is responsible for delivering medications and collecting payments for pharmacy customers.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Assist customers by answering simple questions or referring them to the pharmacist for all medication information.
- Process orders for home delivery, including calling to verify that the patient will be available to accept order and relaying price of medication(s).
- Utilize pharmacy software to process and complete deliveries.
- Maintain accurate accounting of monies received for deliveries and reconcile monies with pharmacy software reports daily.
- Safely operate a motor vehicle and monitor for basic maintenance needs.
