Under direction of Fitness Center Management, executes and ensures daily operations are performed as per established polices & practices. Ensures facilities remain clean and the staff promotes a friendly atmosphere while assisting patrons with questions and equipment needs. Provides superb customer service to military and civilian patrons.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fitness center rules, regulations and safety practices are properly enforced
• Ensure security and accountability of equipment and property
• Ensure cleanliness/serviceability of equipment
• Maintain accurate event/facility attendance records for programs
• Handle telephone inquiries, greet visitors, and provide information as needed
• Assist with special events within the department
• Performs other related duties as required
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Customer service experience, preferably in a fitness center type environment
• Must be available to work any/all shifts as needed (Shifts vary early AM-late PM)
• Must be willing to work on holidays
