Under the direction of Fitness Center Management, the attendant executes and ensures daily operations are performed according to established policies and practices. They ensure the facilities remain clean, staff promotes a friendly atmosphere, and patrons receive assistance with questions and equipment needs. Providing superb customer service to military patrons is essential.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure fitness center rules, regulations, and safety practices are properly enforced
2. Ensure security and accountability of equipment and property
3. Maintain cleanliness and serviceability of equipment
4. Maintain accurate event and facility attendance records for programs
5. Handle telephone inquiries, greet visitors, and provide information as needed
6. Assist with special events within the department
7. Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

1. High school diploma
2. Customer service experience, preferably in a fitness center environment
3. Availability to work any/all shifts as needed (shifts vary from early AM to late PM)
4. Willingness to work on holidays
