Seasonal Forklift Operators:

Join our dynamic team at Lakeside Foods as a Forklift Operator! We are seeking forklift operators/warehouse workers for our zero-degree warehouse. You'll be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading frozen products, maintaining a clean and organized dock area, and ensuring all shipping and receiving paperwork is accurately completed. If you have a keen eye for safety and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you!

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Complete forklift checklist daily.
2. Review pack sheet and understand the product being run each day.
3. Load reefers with frozen product accurately and efficiently based on production schedules.
4. Accurately complete all required shipping and receiving paperwork.
5. Fill out Bills of Lading (BOLs) for each load as required.
6. Load and unload interplant trucks.
7. Keep the palletizers supplied with pallets, hoods, and slip sheets.
8. Move brite from palletizers to the correct location when tagged/completed.
9. Ensure depalletizers are supplied with cans.
10. Remove dunnage from depalletizers and place in designated areas.
11. Perform other warehouse duties as necessary (e.g., operating the palletizer, ticket writing).
12. Maintain a clean and organized dock area and work environment.
13. Follow all GMPs and safety procedures.
14. Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
15. Immediately notify supervisors of any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
16. Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

1. Forklift experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
2. Learn and follow approved safe practices and procedures.
3. Follow Lakeside Foods' safety, health, and security policies.
4. Basic knowledge of warehouse functions, including clerical and shipping tasks.
5. Ability to organize product correctly, stacking and putting away in straight rows.

Pay: $14.17 to $17.48 per hour.
