Seasonal Forklift Operators:

Join our dynamic team at Lakeside Foods as a Forklift Operator! We are seeking forklift operators/warehouse workers for a zero-degree warehouse. You'll be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading frozen products, maintaining a clean and organized dock area, and ensuring all shipping and receiving paperwork is accurately completed. If you have a keen eye for safety and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you!

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Review pack sheet and understand what product is being run daily.
2. Responsible for loading reefers with frozen product based on production accurately and efficiently.
3. Accurately fill out all shipping and receiving paperwork required.
4. Accurately fill out BOL's for each load shipping as required.
5. Load/Unload interplant trucks.
6. Keep the palletizers supplied with pallets, hoods, and slip sheets.
7. Move brite from palletizers when tagged/completed to the correct location.
8. Keep the depalletizers adequately supplied with cans.
9. Remove dunnage from depalletizers and place in designated area.
10. Ability to perform other warehouse duties as necessary (palletizer, ticket writer).
11. Keep dock area clean and organized.
12. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
13. Follow all GMPs and safety procedures.
14. Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
15. Notify supervisor immediately if any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions are discovered.
16. May perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Knowledge:

1. Forklift experience a plus, but we will train.
2. Learn and follow the approved safe practices and procedures which apply to the position.
3. Become familiar with, observe, and follow all Lakeside Foods' rules and established policies for safety, health, and security.
4. Must possess basic knowledge of all functions pertaining to warehouse operations, including clerical and shipping.
5. Must be able to put product away in straight rows as well as stack product straight.

Pay: $14.17 to $17.48 per hour
