Overview

Night Guest Attendant role at WoodSpring Suites in Lynchburg, VA. Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking a positive, professional, and problem-solving Night Guest Attendant. This is a highly visible customer service role, acting as the face of the property and the first point of contact for guests. The position primarily involves working independently during the overnight shift.

Primary Duties

  • Property Inspections: Conduct regular night inspections to ensure safety and security.
  • Guest Services: Assist with after-hours check-in/check-out and address guest needs or concerns with excellent service.
  • Laundry Duties: Handle laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels; maintain a clean laundry area.
  • Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform cleaning tasks (vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing public areas), stock and distribute cleaning supplies, and perform room preps as needed.
  • Emergency Procedures: Know and follow property emergency procedures to meet security needs of the property and guests.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year in customer service; hotel operations experience preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive in solving problems.

Physical Requirements

  • Tasks involve kneeling, squatting, standing, sitting, bending, and twisting for long periods.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 20 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
