About the Organization & Opportunity: Our client is a highly established nonprofit organization founded over 100 years ago Great team-oriented atmosphere that promotes learning and career growth Current employees praise the organization on their commitment to professional development Accounting Clerk Responsibilities: Accounting Clerk will be assisting the staff of the organization with the workflow process - categorizing funds that come into the PAC, reviewing checks, funds, etc. Accounting clerk will possibly be doing remote deposits, journal entries, etc. Accounting Clerk will assist with reconciliations Accounting Clerk will provide analysis related support Accounting Clerk will have heavy spreadsheet related responsibilities = manipulating spreadsheet, analyzing data. Accounting Clerk will possibly assist with some other accounting tasks - including using Jira (inventory system) and training will be provided on this system Requirements: Some college level accounting courses would be a plus Ideally 1-2+ years accounting experience (MUST have the ability to learn and catch on quickly) Basic to intermediate Excel skills Great Plains experience is a plus, but not required. (Should have large ERP system experience). Non-profit or union experience would be plusses, not required Excel - basic to intermediate skills (filters, basic formulas required) Personality Fit: Quick learner Ability to work in fast paced environment Strong attention to detail Proactive Friendly and team oriented Strong written and verbal communication skills - initially will interact with internal accounting contacts, once trained, may interact with PAC, data analytics, etc. departments Salary:

$43,000 - $47,000
