Our client is a pioneer in their industry The company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their corporate office The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records The company stands by their core values of simplicity, trust, focus, reliability, and leadership Some of the employee reviews, include things like:

Overview of the Staff Accountant role: Prepares daily, weekly and monthly journal entries, accruals, and fixed assets Works cross-functionally with other teams - 40 locations and multiple eCommerce merchant service providers Bank reconciliations Maintains and balances sub accounts to ensure accuracy of financial statements Participates in the external audit by analyzing prelims, and producing general ledger schedules / supporting documents for auditors Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance OR equivalent experience Attention to detail and deadline driven Strong Microsoft Excel capabilities including data manipulation, v lookup, and pivot tables Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate and solve discrepancies A team player who has a positive and flexible mindset Able to prioritize and manage time effectively Excellent communication and verbal skills to effectively work with the team in a partially remote environment
