Grant Accountant
to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with expertise in grant management, revenue reconciliation, and accounts payable support. The Grant Accountant will oversee grant billing, monitor incoming funds, reconcile revenue monthly, and ensure timely communication with funders. The role also provides accounts payable support as needed. Key Responsibilities of the Grant Accountant Role: Administer comprehensive grant billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing in compliance with funder guidelines and grant agreements
Monitor and track incoming grant funds, maintaining detailed records to ensure proper allocation and documentation of all receipts
Perform monthly revenue reconciliations, analyzing variances and ensuring alignment between recorded income and actual cash receipts
Communicate proactively with funding agencies to resolve discrepancies and follow up on outstanding payments, fostering strong relationships and timely cash flow
Reconcile grant projects and general ledger reports with grant financial/budget reports, preparing for audits
Review, verify, and post accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy of cash receipts and adherence to internal controls and accounting standards
Qualifications & Requirements of the Grant Accountant Role: Strong analytical skills for reconciling revenue and tracking payments
Ability to effectively interact with funders and internal teams
Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities and deadlines
