Logistics Coordinator Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation and distribution of goods while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Management

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery of products Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement teams to maintain optimal stock levels Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers Documentation and Compliance

Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and delivery receipts Ensure compliance with local, national, and international shipping regulations Maintain detailed records of all logistics activities and generate regular reports Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies Customer Service

Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status and delivery schedules Resolve shipping-related issues and coordinate with relevant departments Maintain communication with customers throughout the delivery process Technology and Systems

Utilize logistics management software and tracking systems Maintain accurate data entry in inventory management systems Generate reports using various software platforms Stay updated on new logistics technologies and recommend improvements ???????Pay -

$20-22 / hour based on experience

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination Experience with logistics software and inventory management systems Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Experience with ERP systems and logistics software platforms Knowledge of shipping regulations and customs procedures Understanding of transportation modes and freight classifications Core Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry and documentation Physical Requirements

Ability to lift packages up to 25 pounds occasionally Comfortable working in warehouse environments when necessary Ability to stand, walk, and move around facilities as needed
