Requirements

Must have:

  • I require candidates to hold a current/active TS/SCI clearance and be willing and able to obtain a CI polygraph.
  • Applicants should have experience developing a consistent process for data evaluations and presenting findings to government personnel.
  • Candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of technical data types based on prior research and work with pertinent data sets. Preferred data types include Technical Telemetry Data and various telecommunication protocol data types, including cellular and Wi-Fi.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a data analyst, data scientist, or in a similar role is required.
  • I expect excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Successful candidates must be self-driven with strong time-management abilities and the capability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Experience in fast-paced work environments is essential.
  • Candidates should have a background working with Software Engineers to provide feedback and validate technical implementations for custom applications.
  • Proficiency in a scripting language, such as Python, SQL, Spark, or PySpark, is necessary.
  • You must be able to work on-site in Herndon, VA, and be flexible to work in Springfield, VA as required.

Responsibilities:

  • In this role, you will be tasked with executing and enhancing data evaluation and assessment efforts.
  • You will influence data engineering strategies for analytical improvements within our applications.
  • Your work will involve identifying and documenting deficiencies within our data resources and analytical capabilities.
  • You will collaborate closely with software developers to gather requirements and provide input as alterations are made to applications.
  • I expect you to engage with end-users to offer Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for various data or application inquiries and requests.

Preferred candidates will be comfortable briefing government leaders, have experience in Activity-Based Intelligence or Pattern of Life analysis, and show proficiency in applying, enhancing, and documenting innovative analytical methodologies. Experience in customer-facing roles, familiarity with GitLab, and knowledge of Jupyter Notebooks or Zeppelin will also be beneficial. In line with our commitment to pay transparency, we have disclosed salary ranges for this position. The starting pay for this role in the Washington, DC metropolitan area is between $118,000.00 and $196,000.00 annually, determined by job-related factors.
