Position: Maintenance Supervisor

What a Maintenance Supervisor does

Directs, manages and holds accountable all maintenance employees. Directs and implements maintenance programs for building and machinery, maintains accurate records of department activities and budgets, ensures safe and functional machinery, leads major equipment rebuilds and overhauls, and coordinates with government regulatory agencies as assigned.

Shift: 5:00am - 2:00pm (Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance functions for production and building equipment; implement a preventive maintenance system; resolve issues promptly
  • Plan and coordinate equipment rebuilds/overhauls; budget and recommend capital expenditures
  • Supervise maintenance staff; hire, direct and terminate personnel as needed
  • Ensure proper training and conduct performance appraisals; maintain personnel files
  • Provide leadership through delegation, goal setting and communication; enforce corrective actions as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and Swire Mission and Core values
  • Maintain department records, monitor budgets, stock spare parts, and inform management of issues
  • Foster effective working relationships with colleagues to resolve issues
  • Maintain safe, clean maintenance operations and OSHA compliance
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor\'s Degree in manufacturing engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • High school diploma with additional experience
  • 6+ years of manufacturing experience (beverage/food preferred)
  • 4+ years supervising manufacturing staff
  • Understanding of ISO Management Systems for Quality, Safety, and Environmental
  • Knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, and GMP requirements
  • Understanding of Coca-Cola KORE requirements
  • Strong understanding of plant production systems and equipment (electrical, plumbing, water handling, mechanical, automation, etc.)
  • Knowledge of industry maintenance standards for food-grade manufacturing

Base pay range is $81,241 to $106,629 plus bonus structure. Pay offered depends on geographic location and experience.
