This position is a member of our Water Supply Division.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Conducts in office and/or on-site engineering and technical reviews, analyses, quality control and evaluations of routine to moderately complex information from internal and external customers to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures; and follows up with appropriate actions. Provides information and engineering assistance concerning requests and submittals from public water systems to internal and external customers through verbal communication, email, correspondence, meetings, on-site assistance, and presentations. Provides customer service to internal and external customers related to the agency's drinking water program through verbal and written communication, correspondence, reports, meetings, presentations, and responses to Public Information Requests (PIRs). Participates in training and professional development activities. Develops and applies engineering and regulatory expertise. Participates in special projects, such as serving as an owner of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and working on Section/Division business process improvement projects. Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Texas Professional Engineer's license.

Work Schedule
Standard business hours are M-F, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Individual and work group schedule determined by the TCEQ Headquarters Office.
