This role is based at our Salt Lake City, UT headquarters with a hybrid schedule of 4 days in office and 1 optional work-from-home day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate with third-party vendors to manage utility billing, store help desk tickets, and data reporting Lead initiatives to reduce energy consumption and waste through research, project development, and implementation Monitor and analyze utility usage, including water and energy, to identify trends and resolve inefficiencies Implement and manage smart irrigation and water filtration systems across facilities Develop and maintain processes for wastewater system management Research, apply for, and track utility and government rebates tied to new construction and major renovations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure rebate-eligible designs and equipment are specified Maintain relationships with utility rebate program administrators to maximize program value Manage and maintain a centralized utility dashboard; deliver monthly performance reporting to leadership Support the food rescue program through regular reporting to internal stakeholders Role Requirements:

This role is cell phone eligible and supports an 24/7 operation. Occasional after-hours, weekend, or holiday work may be required to respond to urgent issues or service calls. Qualifications: Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred; an associate’s degree or equivalent experience will also be considered. Qualifications: Experience

1+ years of experience in utility analysis, energy management, or sustainability. Microsoft Office experience and computer skills are essential. Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills. Training and/or direct experience leading others on process changes. Experience in building and managing professional collaborations and partnerships. Qualifications: Team Member Leadership Skills

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $70,000-$80,000/year and Bonus Opportunities The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
