Description Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in various settings, from inpatient to outpatient, to craft personalized treatment strategies Implement physical therapy techniques that prioritize mobility, strength, balance, and functional improvements Work in synergy with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient outcomes Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercise regimens Meticulously document assessments, treatments, and progress in line with both facility standards and regulatory protocols Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to guarantee cohesive patient care Education
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited educational institution Certifications
Valid state licensure as a
PT / Physical Therapist CPR certification preferred but not mandatory Specialized certifications (neuro, geriatric) are advantageous, though not essential Skills
Prior experience in the field is highly valued Aptitude for managing patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges Exceptional communication and collaborative skills are essential Proficient with electronic charting and clinical documentation systems Benefits
