The Human Resources department at the College is seeking a dynamic Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. From sourcing to hiring, you'll play a key role in attracting top talent who will help shape the future of our students and institution.

Job Functions:
  • Recruiting: Manage the College's full-cycle recruitment process. Manages the recruitment system, conducts intake meetings with managers, interviews, screens, and sources candidates, provides recruitment data, prepares recruitment material, and post jobs to appropriate job boards. Provides any training or updates for users in the application tracking system. Will be the subject matter expert of the applicant tracking system.
  • Talent Acquisition: Implement an effective talent acquisition strategy, working with key stakeholders to build a strong employer brand and recruitment system. Monitors hiring progress to meet recruitment metrics and provides regular updates to stakeholders and manager. Communicates effectively with candidates and stakeholders. Maintains organizational charts and other information including position number, department, FLSA status and approval hierarchies.
  • Outreach Initiatives: Serve as TCTC representative at internal and external recruitment related events. Partner with marketing to enhance recruitment campaigns and college outreach initiatives
  • Compensation and HR Reporting: Gain working knowledge of the state's classification and compensation system; Become exposed and understand the intricacies of the state's classification and compensation system. Prepare reports and responses to requests for data from the state HR Office and internally. Prepare recruitment and staffing reports.
  • Other: Provides general assistance and support to the department. Participates in new hire orientation. Any other duties outside of normal responsibilities that are needed as necessary.
Position reports to the HR Manager and works directly with leaders across the college. Successful candidate must perform duties independently exercising superb judgement and discretion in applying all of the applicable regulations, and state and federal laws. Personal and professional integrity and ethics must are critical to the success of this position.

Position functions in a small but fast-paced team environment. Ability to handle time intense and time sensitive responsibilities as well as attending to the small details through initiative, effective time management and personal effectiveness is essential.
Minimum and Additional Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 0-2 years experience in human resources.

Preferred Qualifications

Recruiting and or staffing experience 5+ years.
