Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced recruiter who is willing to think outside the box. This individual will develop and execute innovative talent acquisition strategies to fill professional roles and skilled trades within CES. The recruiter will leverage multiple sourcing channels, including career fairs, social media, networking events, and strategic partnerships, to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative recruiting strategies to attract high-quality candidates in a competitive labor market.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring process.
- Willing to travel to career fairs, trade shows, networking events, and industry-specific hiring initiatives.
- Utilize social media, job boards, employee referrals, and digital platforms to enhance CES's employer brand and outreach.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop job postings that attract top talent.
- Build and maintain relationships with trade schools, colleges, and industry organizations to cultivate a pipeline of skilled candidates.
- Stay informed on industry hiring trends and best practices to ensure CES remains competitive in talent acquisition.
- Track and report recruitment metrics to evaluate sourcing effectiveness and hiring outcomes.
- Foster a positive candidate experience by maintaining timely and professional communication.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in skilled trades, construction, HVAC, or mechanical contracting industries.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Skills:
- Proven ability to source, attract, and hire top talent in a challenging labor market.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and social media recruiting strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Ability to think creatively and adapt recruitment strategies based on industry trends and business needs.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open positions and hiring deadlines.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
- Willing to travel
