This role, based at our corporate office in Houston, TX, will support the HR department with the administration of policies and procedures. You will serve as a frontline for employees, assisting with HR-related questions and providing administrative support for day-to-day HR processes. This includes entering and maintaining employee information in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure accuracy and data integrity.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

• Process new hires and terminations
• Prepare offers/promotions/transfers/final pay memos and exit interviews
• Conduct New Hire Orientation
• Enter new hires and various information into Oracle
• Set up folders (electronic and hard copies)
• Schedule pre-employment drug screens, I-9s and background searches
• Maintain confidential employee files; manage file archival and relocation as needed
• Process and code invoices / Credit Card reconciliation monthly for department
• Assist employees with drug free letters and VOEs
• Inventory control of PPE and office supplies for HR Department
• Schedule merchant marine physicals, physical abilities assessments and vaccinations for offshore workforce; monitor medication tracking log
• Run scheduled HR reports
• Conduct periodic audits for HR files, I-9s and Oracle data
• Provide support to senior level management within the HR department, including Oracle testing and annual compensation administrative support
• Fidelity 401K funding
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Education / Training: High School Diploma
• Experience: 1-2 years Human Resources background
• Skills: Microsoft Suite, Oracle HRIS

Minimum Requirements And Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; Intermediate Excel
• Strong communication skills – oral and written
• Able to support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Schedule: Daytime hours Monday-Friday, with the option to work one day remote
