Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, SLPs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to provide holistic and comprehensive care. Educate Patients and Families: Offer guidance to patients and their caregivers on therapy methods to encourage continued progress at home. Document Patient Progress: Monitor and record developments, making necessary adjustments to treatment to keep patients on their path to success. Educational Background
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Opportunities for continuing education and additional certifications are readily available and actively supported Required Certifications
Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is essential Essential Skills
