Job Responsibilities Develop Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and construct personalized therapy approaches to help them reach their functional goals Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Leverage evidence-based techniques to improve patients' motor skills, cognition, and daily activities Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Engage with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive, holistic patient care Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapeutic methods to facilitate progress outside the clinic Track and Document Progress: Evaluate clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure patients remain on track Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school Ongoing education or certification advancements encouraged and supported Certifications

Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
license required NBCOT
(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory Desired Skills
