Job Title: Maintenance Assistant

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Clean and stock restrooms.
• Ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
• Work with a contract cleaning service when necessary.
• Perform other work-related duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage time efficiently.
• Work well when supervisors are not present.
• Handle general cleaning and other janitorial duties.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance. Frequent carrying, pushing and pulling of tools and equipment.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Information

Location: San Juan Capistrano, CA

Salary: Hourly Rate – $21 per hour

Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Physical and Sensory Requirements (With or Without the Aid of Mechanical Devices): Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day and must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
