Overview
A highly reputable venture capital firm is seeking an Executive Assistant to support a Venture Partner (Fintech) and a General Partner/Co-Founder (Health team). This role offers the opportunity to work with two fast-paced teams, providing high-level support across calendars, travel, deal flow, and firm-wide coordination. We are seeking an experienced, tech-savvy, and diplomatic professional eager to join a collaborative and mission-driven environment with outstanding compensation and benefits.
Hybrid role: in-office Tuesday/Thursday in San Francisco; remote the remainder of the week, with some flexibility as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex scheduling and heavy calendars, ensuring accuracy and organization at all times
- Coordinate domestic and international travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and itineraries
- Process expenses and manage reimbursements in a timely manner
- Manage deal flow across teams, utilizing CRM and project management software
- Attend meetings, manage logistics, and track action items to completion
- Partner closely with executives and other EA team members to ensure seamless communication and execution
- Assist in planning and executing events, conferences, dinners, and larger firm gatherings
- Serve as a resourceful problem solver, helping the executives prioritize and strategize amidst competing demands
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leaders; finance, venture capital, or professional services background preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across different teams with diplomacy and professionalism
- Highly tech-savvy; comfortable learning and implementing new tools (AI, Notion, Asana, Affinity, G-Suite, etc.)
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to keep executives and teams aligned
- Team-oriented, self-starter mentality with strong decision-making skills
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary up to $175,000
- Excellent benefits package, including 100% medical coverage for employee + dependents
Note: This position is located in San Francisco, CA and may be eligible for remote/work-from-home arrangements as described above.
