Under the direction of the Executive Director of Accountability & Specialized Services, the CTE & Instructional Technology Coordinator is responsible for assisting in developing and implementing TBP's strategies for technology use to advance all academic objectives. The CTE & Instructional Technology Coordinator will work with company management, school management, technology management, academic department, administrators, teachers, and students to develop a unified technology teaching plan. The technology teaching plan will incorporate instructional materials, equipment, programs, and applications to identify instructional needs and focus resources toward meeting these needs. The CTE & Instructional Technology Coordinator will work as a colleague and mentor with classroom teachers and technology staff to support student learning.

Duties

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned. Related to the district's technology programs:

Instructional & Program Management Evaluate student progress systematically and use findings to improve the effectiveness of CTE programs and technology-enhanced instruction. Facilitate the planning, implementation, and integration of current and future instructional technologies in CTE programs and across district-wide curriculum. Encourage and support the development of innovative instructional models and technology-based teaching methods. Plan time, resources, and materials to support instructional staff in achieving educational goals. Ensure continuous curriculum renewal responsive to student needs, industry demands, and technology advancements. Provide career exploration resources, testing materials, and dual-credit program coordination aligned with College, Career, and Military readiness goals. Serve on local, regional, and state committees related to CTE and instructional technology. Develop and manage memorandums of understanding (MOUs) and seek school board approval when appropriate. Student Management & Support

Implement district student-management policies and ensure enforcement of the student code of conduct. Coordinate career planning, academic monitoring, and technology support for all students, including special education and diverse learners. Collaborate with counselors to align student graduation plans with career and industry certifications. Coordinate CTE and technology representation in ARD meetings as needed. Instructional Technology Integration

Facilitate district-wide integration of digital technologies to enhance K-12 instruction. Assist staff in evaluating, selecting, and developing technology-based instructional materials aligned to student learning needs. Support planning, rostering, implementation, and data-driven evaluation of instructional technology, including software, web-based resources, usage, and accessibility tools. Organize and conduct staff development and professional learning on technology integration. Maintain department websites and instructional technology resource databases. Policy, Reports & Compliance

Recommend and implement sound practices in accordance with federal, state, and local policies for both CTE and technology programs. Compile, maintain, and submit reports, records, and other required documentation. Ensure staff comply with applicable instructional and technology policies. Budget & Inventory Management

Administer CTE and instructional technology budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of funds. Maintain inventory of instructional and technology resources; approve purchases and recommend equipment replacement. Plan, compile, and manage Carl Perkins Grant applications and track grant spending. Personnel Management & Development

Supervise, evaluate, and support instructional and support staff performance. Develop training opportunities, professional development plans, and improvement initiatives. Manage recruitment, selection, and training of department personnel; make recommendations on personnel placement, retention, and discipline. Communication & Community Engagement

Articulate district mission and goals to students, staff, and the community. Recruit employers and partners to provide career field experiences. Organize advisory committee meetings and maintain open communication with stakeholders. Provide guidance and support to parents and students regarding career, college, and scholarship opportunities. Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervise and evaluate instructional and support staff within CTE and instructional technology programs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to grasp, handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Requirements: • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university. • Valid teaching certification. Technology Applications Certification preferred. • Three years of classroom teaching experience preferred. • Thorough knowledge of current instructional technology tools.
