How you create impact

Your Role

You will report to a manager and have general responsibility for coordinating and supervising daily logistics activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. This is a startup operation and requires a lot of flexibility.

Your Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate unloading/loading of inbound outbound shipments.

• Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork with associates and drivers to ensure that all product is properly counted.

• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage and errors.

• Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.

• Ensure that the work schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly.

• Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.

• You will make recommendations to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager on processes to set up goals and improve operations.

• Operate material handling equipment.

• Direct the activities of warehouse associates.

• Help develop processes to ensure the efficient operation and use of all warehouse equipment.

• Implement processes to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property.

• Oversee the warehouse housekeeping program.

• Ensure current, accurate inventory control and that customer orders are picked and shipped.

• Follow health and safety policies that follow company and OSHA regulations.

• Oversee the build up of airline ULD.

• Be available to work overtime and weekends.

What we would like you to bring

Your Skills And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2 years of experience in a warehousing environment and at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

• Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

• Basic computer and math skills.

$20 and $25

. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.
