As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. You will report to a Supervisor and perform weekly cycle counts, make system adjustments, and maintain accurate records to help facilitate shortage detection. The base hourly pay rate for this role is $21.20. In addition, you'll receive a $0.50 shift differential for working the 2nd shift and a $1.00 shift differential for the Weekend Shift.

We are currently hiring for the following full-time shifts:
1st Shift: Monday - Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 AM
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday | 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Weekend Day Shift: Friday - Sunday | 12:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Weekend Night Shift: Friday - Sunday | 12:00 AM – 12:30 PM

How you create impact
Maintain inventory records and inventory management procedures
Reconcile inventory and coordinate inventory procedures
Work with management on implementing loss prevention programs and improving management of inventory
Implement recovery program to ensure all defective product is accounted for and handled properly
Help oversee the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including weekly and monthly reports
Conduct system searches to locate products
Develop a program to audit returns and move returned product to its proper location
Process proper documentation to create a prompt credit transaction
Develop all necessary reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts
What we would like you to bring
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of recent experience in cycle counting and inventory control
1+years of recent experience operating an order picker forklift
PC literate with experience in Microsoft Suites
WMS (Warehouse Management System) experience
Experience operating material handling equipment
