8-Hour Day Shifts (5:30 AM - 2:00 PM) Hours per Week:
40 (Guaranteed) Assignment Length:
13 weeks (Start: 10/13/2025 - End: 1/10/2026) Weekend Rotation:
Every 4th weekend (Saturday/Sunday) Call Requirement:
2 call shifts per 6-week schedule (weekday call only, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 30-minute response time) Holiday Coverage:
75% of holidays Scrub Color:

$1630 - $1750 PACU RN Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent PreOp/PACU nursing experience At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment completed BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required EPIC EMR experience required Proficient in IV starts and phlebotomy Preferred: Experience with pre-op nerve blocks Strong teamwork, flexibility, and a positive attitude PACU Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver preoperative and postoperative care to a diverse surgical patient population, including trauma, orthopedic, spine, cardiac, vascular, GYN, robotics, bariatrics, urology, and ENT cases Manage critical care drips, ventilators (with RT support), chest tubes, trach and central venous line (CVL) management, and cardiac rhythm interpretation Utilize dopplers, bladder scanners, and Vioptix O2 sensors for advanced patient monitoring Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, especially during weekend rotations Enjoy a float-free assignment; primarily work in PreOp with some PACU duties as needed Participate in departmental orientation and ongoing clinical education
