12-hour night shifts (18:50 - 07:10), 36 hours/week, every other weekend rotation; 48-hour weeks available Guaranteed Hours:

Navy Free Employee Parking Deck Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (North Carolina or compact state) Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience BLS and ACLS certifications required NIHSS certification (for Resource Team) Proficiency with EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing systems Strong Med/Surg and Telemetry skills: stroke care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management, PCA pumps, and medication gtt management (cardiac drips, heparin, blood products, IV fluids) First-time travel nurses considered; prior travel nursing experience preferred Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care for diagnoses including chest pain, syncope, and angina Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage stroke and telemetry patients Perform trach care, chest tube management, NGT placement, and manage drains/tubes Administer medications, including cardiac drips, blood products, and manage PCA pumps Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team: supervisors, charge RNs, resource RNs, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and phlebotomy/IV teams Engage in a supportive unit culture with professional development opportunities (unit book club, Netflix clubs, and more) Comply with weekend and holiday scheduling requirements
