Our client in the transportation and logistics industry is seeking Warehouse Associates to join their team in Bolingbrook, IL. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting shipping, receiving, inventory management, and freight handling.
Job Title:
Warehouse Associate
Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Pay Range: $19 an hour
Shift: 11:30am-7pm
What's the Job?
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders to sales associates for processing
Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped
Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and visitors
Participate in inventory counts and assemble products as needed
What's Needed?
Basic written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer skills
Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
Experience in dock or warehouse operations within the transportation industry
Experience loading and unloading trailers and using handheld scanners
