CMSC: Capacity Building Volunteer (CDS)
Our AmeriCorps members provide crucial support to conflict resolution centers across New York State. At CDS, the abbreviated-time Capacity Building member assists with intake, responds to inquiries, helps coordinate training logistics, assembles materials, and enters case data. They also support outreach and event planning. They participate in professional development and service initiatives, making a lasting impact on their own skills and the lives of those they serve.
Member Duties :
Members will serve at the CDRC Host Site engaging in indirect services such as, but not limited to, scheduling, conducting case intake, and coordinating other volunteers for the program to support the direct services needed under the program and for the Host Site. It is important to note that AmeriCorps members in this program track may also engage in direct services under the other program tracks.
