36 Shift:
12-hour rotating shifts (7:00pm - 7:30am), every other weekend/holiday, unpaid lunch Estimated Weekly Salary:
$1990 - $2130 ER RN Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience At least 1 year of ER travel nursing experience preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification (required) Successful completion of Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams Proficient in IV administration, IV starts, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring Strong communication skills in English TNCC, ENPC, PALS certifications preferred Completion of an approved de-escalation Certification Course preferred Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities
Provide patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Administer and monitor patient responses to medications and treatments Direct and guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary healthcare personnel Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Document assessments throughout hospital admission, including physical, psychological, and social dimensions, as well as discharge plans Initiate and communicate care plans with allied healthcare providers Demonstrate proficiency as a charge nurse and in computerized nursing informatics Serve as a resource for patient care, orientation, and staff education Participate in staff meetings, mandatory programs, and ongoing professional development Adhere to safety and infection control policies and procedures Represent the hospital and healthcare team professionally within the community Deliver service excellence to patients, families, and colleagues Perform other nursing duties as assigned by supervisor
