40 hours per week Shift Schedule:
8-hour shifts; start times include 7:00am-3:30pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, 10:00am-6:00pm, or 12:00pm-8:30pm On-call:
Required for nights, weekends, and holidays (rotating schedule) Estimated Weekly Salary:
$2,680 - $2,870 Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Massachusetts RN license Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Minimum 2 years recent nursing experience in Critical Care (ICU, CVICU), Emergency Department, SDC/PACU, or Acute Cardiac Unit/Stepdown Current BLS and ACLS certifications Successful completion of CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia Exams prior to start date Proficient in IV administration and telemetry monitoring Completion of Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) course Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Lead apron use required On-call availability for off-shift, weekends, and holidays Preferred:
Recent cardiovascular interventional nursing experience, BSN, CCRN or CRN certification Cath Lab RN Responsibilities
Provide patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Administer medications and monitor patient responses Direct patient care and guide ancillary personnel Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Document assessments throughout hospital admission, including physical, psychological, and social dimensions, plus discharge planning Coordinate plan of care with allied healthcare providers Demonstrate proficiency in charge nurse role and computerized nursing informatics Serve as a resource for patient care, staff orientation, and education Participate in unit meetings, mandatory programs, and ongoing professional development Follow safety and blood/body fluid policies and procedures Represent the hospital professionally and maintain confidentiality Deliver service excellence to patients, families, visitors, volunteers, and co-workers Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
