Machine Shop Technician to join our team at our lab location in
St. Louis, MO . This is a great opportunity for individuals with around
1 year of hands-on machining experience
who are looking to grow their skills in a supportive, safety-focused environment.
What You'll Do
As a Machine Shop Technician, you'll work with a variety of manual and CNC machines to produce metal samples used in industrial testing. You'll receive guidance and training from experienced team members while contributing to real-world projects.
Key Responsibilities: Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce metal samples. Assist in setting up machines and preparing materials for machining. Follow established procedures to ensure quality and consistency. Maintain a clean and safe work area and help monitor equipment and supplies. Learn and apply best practices for machining different materials. What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence required. Around
1 year of machining experience
in a production or manufacturing setting. Basic understanding of machining tools and safety procedures. Mechanically inclined. Willingness to learn and follow project schedules. Ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Preferred Qualifications:
Technical training or certification in machining or manufacturing. Familiarity with Haas VF2 mills, CNC lathes, or manual lathes/mills is a plus. Work Schedule & Environment
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday Exposure to high-speed machinery, mechanical parts, and occasional chemical substances. Work may involve standing, walking, lifting (up to 60 lbs), and other physical tasks. Why Join Us?
