HiFyve is hiring a Master Maintenance Technician (Utilities) in the Manufacturing industry in St. Paul, MN!
Salary: $35.00 - $40.00/ hour
Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, 2-2-3 rotation
Location: St. Paul, MN
Job Duties and Responsibilities Perform planned, unplanned, and emergency maintenance/repairs on production, packaging, and utility systems while following all safety procedures Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections to assess equipment reliability and performance Interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals to carry out maintenance and troubleshooting Support new equipment installation and system upgrades Train and assist machine operators in troubleshooting to reduce downtime Utilize appropriate tools and testing equipment to complete mechanical and electrical tasks Communicate effectively with departments to report maintenance issues that may impact production Accurately complete documentation for maintenance work and equipment history Stay informed on new technologies, systems, and maintenance practices Maintain compliance with safety regulations, GMPs, and internal food safety/quality requirements Education Requirements
First Class B Boiler Engineer License (required) High school diploma or equivalent (required) Trade or technical school graduation preferred in areas such as mechanical, electrical, PLCs, refrigeration, or related fields Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
4-6 years of experience in industrial maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs, motor controls, and automated systems Strong understanding of ammonia refrigeration systems (preferred) Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documentation Skilled in the safe use of hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
