Your impact

  • As a Senior Manager, you will be a critical member of the Industrials consulting team in North America.
  • Lead and manage the delivery of client engagements, elevating analysis, and infusing client-centric depth into content, expertise, and deliverables.
  • Drive project planning and execution, aligning delivery to client needs and objectives while managing cost structure and margins.
  • Guide a team of junior consultants to develop innovative, actionable insights using data, analytics, and research to deliver client-ready recommendations.
  • Develop trusted senior-level advisory relationships by delivering high-quality, tailored recommendations that clients can execute to realize benefits.
  • Engage senior client audiences at all stages of their growth strategy, ensuring buy-in for recommendations and solutions.
  • Expand relevant capabilities, tactics, and tools to advance client business goals.
  • Identify and engage prospective clients to understand needs and expand Simon-Kucher’s footprint, offerings, and client base.
  • Provide exceptional client service and communication, even in challenging situations.
  • Prepare client-ready deliverables and present findings to senior client audiences, incorporating client feedback.
  • Manage multiple engagements and project teams, including coaching and development of team members.
  • Lead project teams to goals with clear roles, strong project management, and primary client contact.
  • Create engagement workplans and oversee research, qualitative and quantitative analysis to obtain key insights for clients.
  • Oversee outputs across multiple engagements and provide timely feedback to balance timeline and quality.
  • Contribute to the growth of the Industrials practice by developing new capabilities and pursuing opportunities with clients.
  • Develop and deliver new thought leadership in collaboration with peers and seniors in the Industrials practice.
  • Stay abreast of business and industry trends relevant to clients.
  • Analyze processes and tools and recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Coach and develop consultants, acting as a Career Development Advisor to junior team members.
  • Demonstrate empathy and emotional intelligence in managing conflict and change.
  • Play an integral role in recruiting and integrating new Industrials consultants.
  • Be a leader in the firm and contribute to Simon-Kucher’s culture and success.

Your profile

  • Outstanding drive, determination, and desire to be part of a growing, top-tier consulting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of and passion for the Industrials sector.
  • Undergraduate degree required; MS, MA, MBA, or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in a professional services environment, ideally in management consulting within Industrials.
  • Proven expertise in growth strategies, go-to-market strategy, segmentation, product and portfolio design, pricing, marketing, value proposition development, distribution strategy, sales strategies, and monetization.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to distill insights from large data sets.
  • Effective presentation and communication to a senior audience.
  • Proven track record of solving complex problems, directing teams, and delivering within tight timelines.
  • Experience managing multiple engagements with budgets and schedules.
  • Strong work ethic, collaborative spirit, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Inclusive and empathetic leadership and team management.
  • Interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders and senior clients.
  • Ability to develop and maintain deep relationships with senior clients.
  • Proven ability to grow and maintain a high-performing consulting team.
  • Access to an existing Industrials network in North America is a plus, preferably with senior executives.
  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time.

The pay range for this position in California is $200,000-$210,000/year and in New York is $190,000-$200,000/year. Compensation varies by experience, location, and business needs. Benefits include paid time off, 13 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, basic life insurance, and 401(k) for eligible employees.
