Summary: Full-Time Retail Supervisor. Our Retail Merchandising Team is seeking a competitive and ambitious Supervisor with proven experience managing and motivating associates, increasing sales, and merchandising. The Retail Supervisor is responsible for achieving and maintaining all client and customer standards by overseeing and directing activities of associates within assigned territories. Works closely with Business Development Managers, Brands, Retail Managers, and other retail personnel to ensure business objectives are met.

What You’ll Do
- Manage and direct retail associates, conduct store audits, and execute and complete all retail projects.
- Maintain client objectives by ensuring products are fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematics.
- Establish and maintain client relationships including work appointments.
- Monitor and regulate expenses in line with position and team budget standards.
- Provide accurate and timely communication, administrative support, and coaching to direct reports.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree Preferred.
- 4 years of applicable retail experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple duties with frequent changes and deadlines.
- Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Responsibilities
The Company is a leading sales and marketing agency specializing in outsourced sales, merchandising, category management and marketing services. The Retail Supervisor is responsible for achieving and maintaining all Client and Customer standards by overseeing and directing activities of Retail Sales Representatives and Merchandisers within an assigned territory. Works with Business Development Managers, Clients, Store Managers, and retail personnel to meet objectives.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Business Development: pursue in-store retail excellence, goodwill with trade and Clients, timely new item placement, and completion of retail projects.
- Client Audits: manage and direct retail personnel, conduct store audits, and execute projects to meet Client goals.
- Increase brand representation by establishing client relationships and scheduling Client work with appointments.
- Sales and Merchandising: ensure products are stocked, signed, faced, and aligned with schematics.
- New Items: place new items in authorized stores to support objectives.
- Shelf Standards: ensure items meet Client shelf schematic standards.
- Call Coverage: oversee scheduling of merchandisers and review reports.
- Budget and Expense Control: manage budgeting and expenses to stay under budget.
- Administration/Reporting: complete accurate and timely paperwork, reports, itineraries, timesheets, and expense reports.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct Reports: Hires, trains, coaches, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes and resources. Indirect Reports: may delegate work and provide guidance to indirect reports.
Travel and/or Driving Requirements
Travel and driving are essential duties of this job; travel up to 30%.
Minimum Qualifications
Education Level: Associate’s Degree (Required) or equivalent work experience.
Field of Study/Experience: 4 years of applicable experience; 2+ years supervisory experience.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Basic computer skills with Word, Excel, and Internet usage.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
Environmental & Physical Requirements
Field/Administrative requirements: work may be in office, field, retail store, or warehouse. Ability to spend 66%+ of the workday performing activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and potentially working in cold environments; travel required.
