DaVinci Xi and Ion Robot Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience in a hospital or surgical center (14-room OR preferred) Active Compact or Maryland RN license (required) Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; CNOR preferred Experience with general and GYN surgeries required Proficiency with Cerner EMR system Ability to work two out of three major holidays, including surrounding days Two supervisor references required Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Preferred experience: Trauma Level I/II, Bariatrics, Vascular, Thoracic, ENT, Endoscopic Procedures, Neurology, Ophthalmology Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care for adult and geriatric surgical patients Circulate and/or scrub for procedures including general, GYN, robotic, vascular, thoracic, ENT, neurology, and more Operate advanced surgical technology such as DaVinci Xi and Ion Robot Participate in scheduled call rotation (3 weeknights and 2 weekends in 6 weeks) Float to other units as needed within scope of practice Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Adhere to infection control, safety, and universal protocol procedures Support a positive and efficient operating room environment, including handling special procedures and equipment
