$2680-$2870 Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - required for all U.S. nursing jobs BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR nursing experience in a large teaching hospital (strong candidates with slightly less than 2 years considered) Prior travel nursing experience required Circulate experience required; scrub experience preferred Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (mandatory) Strong clinical knowledge in ortho, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (public transportation not accessible) Vehicles must have all-season or snow tires November-April (Vermont travel nurse safety requirement) CVOR Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver expert nursing care in the CVOR, including circulating and (preferably) scrubbing for diverse surgical procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes Participate in call and weekend rotations as scheduled Float to Fanny Allen Ambulatory Campus as needed Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment Maintain compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations Work 2 out of 4 major holidays during the assignment
