Dialysis RN Details



  • Location: Burlington, VT 05401 (Vermont nursing jobs)

  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (October 6, 2025 – January 5, 2026)

  • Setting: Outpatient Dialysis (Joy Drive unit; float to St. Albans & Berlin clinics as needed)

  • Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts; flexibility to work 8/10/12-hour day/evening shifts required

  • Hours per Week: 36

  • Schedule: Monday–Sunday; Saturday coverage required; must work 2 of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year\'s Day)

  • Orientation: Bi-weekly on Mondays (next available: 10/6/2025)

  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1880–$2020 per week


Dialysis RN Qualifications



  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required for all RN jobs)

  • Current AHA BLS certification

  • CCHT (Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician) certification required

  • Minimum 2 years of recent dialysis RN experience

  • EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required for clinical support roles)

  • Prior travel nursing experience preferred

  • Ability to float to St. Albans & Berlin dialysis clinics as needed

  • Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (no public transportation access)

  • Vehicles must have all-season or snow tires November–April

  • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained

  • Complete work history information required for submission


Dialysis RN Responsibilities



  • Deliver safe, high-quality dialysis care to outpatients in a collaborative healthcare team environment

  • Monitor and assess patient status before, during, and after dialysis treatments

  • Administer medications and manage vascular access as needed

  • Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR

  • Float to other dialysis units (St. Albans & Berlin) as required

  • Participate in bi-weekly orientation and ongoing clinical training

  • Maintain flexibility with scheduling, including weekends and holidays
