Per Diems are encouraged to apply!
Sign-on/ Retention Bonus - up to $4,000
Pay Range (depending on experience):
Vent LPN: $33.00 - $39.444/hr ($.50 - $5.00 Shift Differentials)
Vent RN: $40.00 - $48.62/hr ($.50 - $5.00 Shift Differentials)
Vent RN, BSN: $42.00 - $50.62/hr ($.50 - $5.00 Shift Differentials)
As a Nurse on our Respiratory Care Unit at Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care to our patients. The Respiratory Unit is a specialty unit providing care to patients with ALS, Traumatic Brain Injury and Ventilator Dependency. The desired candidate will have a passion for caring for residents needing 24-hour critical care in a long-term care environment.
Responsibilities:
Assess patients' health needs and develop and implement care plans Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff member Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment Document patients' progress and outcomes using electronic medical records Stay up to date with current research and best practices in nursing Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills Other duties as assigned Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Valid MA RN or LPN nursing License 1 year of experience is preferred but will consider a new graduate nurse. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
