Shifts Currently Available:

  • 6:45pm - 7:15am
    • 36 hours: Wk 1: Mon/Wed/Fri, Wk 2: Mon/Wed/Sat, Wk 3: Sun/Mon/Wed
    • 36 hours: Wk 1: Sun/Tues/Wed, Wk 2: Tues/Fri/Sat, Wk 3: Sun/Tues/Wed
    • 12 hours: Wk 1: Tues, Wk 2: Tues, Wk 3: Tues

Per Diems are encouraged to apply!

Sign-on/ Retention Bonus - up to $4,000

Pay Range (depending on experience):

Vent LPN: $33.00 - $39.444/hr ($.50 - $5.00 Shift Differentials)

Vent RN: $40.00 - $48.62/hr ($.50 - $5.00 Shift Differentials)

Vent RN, BSN: $42.00 - $50.62/hr ($.50 - $5.00 Shift Differentials)

As a Nurse on our Respiratory Care Unit at Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care to our patients. The Respiratory Unit is a specialty unit providing care to patients with ALS, Traumatic Brain Injury and Ventilator Dependency. The desired candidate will have a passion for caring for residents needing 24-hour critical care in a long-term care environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' health needs and develop and implement care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff member
  • Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment
  • Document patients' progress and outcomes using electronic medical records
  • Stay up to date with current research and best practices in nursing
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Valid MA RN or LPN nursing License
  • 1 year of experience is preferred but will consider a new graduate nurse.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
