The Partner Strategy and Operations (S&O) Leader is responsible for helping to shape, executing. and operationalizing the plans set by the Partner Director for the AWS Professional Services business (ProServe). The Partner S&O Leader will work through their colleagues across ProServe Strategy & Operations (PSO) and other AWS teams to make those plans become a reality.

Key job responsibilities

The Partner S&O Leader dives deep into existing capabilities and mechanisms to inspect how ProServe sells and delivers with our AWS partner network. The Partner S&O Leader will support the Partner Director with go-to-market planning and co-selling with the broader partner community. The scope of this role includes ownership over the evolution of mechanisms for ProServe to meet its partner outcomes.

Key job responsibilities

• Partner Selection and Onboarding: This role will develop and maintain mechanisms to drive the ProServe Partner segmentation and selection to determine the partners ProServe will prioritize, align investments to, engage with, why and how. This includes mechanisms to onboard our delivery partners ensuring the highest level of security and quality.

• Partnership Frameworks: This role will develop and maintain mechanisms for a strategic framework that supports a wide variety of differentiated partnerships, across all ProServe geographies industries, and partner types (ISVs, G/SIs, etc).

• Partner Delivery Governance: This role will develop and maintain mechanisms to oversee Partner and ProServe interactions across hundreds of partners and customer engagements. This includes delivery mechanisms and controls to ensure the highest standards are used consistently to meet/exceed customer expectations. These standards start with security and also include all aspects of delivery quality, schedule, scope and costs.

• Metrics and Reporting: This role will develop, maintain and evolve the ProServe Partner metrics including: Partner Booked Revenue, Partner Delivered Revenue, Partner Co-Sell, Partner Pipeline, and Partner satisfaction. This leader will also support other reporting and insights needed by the Partner Director and other senior business leaders. This will be completed in conjunction with the PSO analytics team.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field

Experience in people management

Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing business processes

Experience in multiple organizational functions such as compensation, forecasting or organizational development

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $132,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $219,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
