Job Title: Forklift/ Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. This role requires expertise in operating machinery, specifically band saws, and includes responsibilities such as quality control and forklift operation. Candidates must be familiar with measuring techniques and be able to thrive in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
Responsibilities
Operate band saws for cutting steel and other materials.
Use and manage sit-down forklifts effectively.
Read and accurately measure materials using a tape measure.
Perform visual quality control checks.
Ensure processing equipment is well-maintained and in safe condition.
Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
Accurately enter required information into the system.
Learn and operate aluminum saws for cuts ranging from 4'-20'.
Essential Skills
Experience with band saw operation.
Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts.
Ability to read and use a tape measure.
Strong visual quality control skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in metal fabrication and aerospace industry.
Strong attendance and work history.
Attention to detail and ability to work on feet.
Comfortable with paperwork and chain of custody.

The workplace is located in Auburn, WA, with operations on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $24.25/hr.
