As a Human Resources Coordinator at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you will provide administrative support within the Human Resources Department.

Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva is a 1,300 acre, AAA Four Diamond resort and spa recognized as a Top Resort in the Midwest by Conde Nast Traveler. This award-winning, all-seasons destination features over 746 guest accommodations, the WELL Spa & Salon, two championship golf courses, fitness facilities, a ski hill and terrain park, and 9 unique food and beverage outlets. Responsibilities

  • Greeting and assisting all visitors to the Human Resources office
  • Assists in preparation of all associate events (including associate recognition events, holiday parties, associate meetings, etc.)
  • Assists with preparation of training classes
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested
  • Performs customer service functions by answering the phone, responding to employee requests, and assisting with associate inquiries
  • Files and maintains all associate files
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions
  • Processes mail
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested
  • Communication board maintenance
  • Maintains all forms in Human Resources reception area
  • Creates and distributes birthday and anniversary lists
  • Submits payroll items to be processed as necessary
  • Associate resource for benefits questions
  • Data entry of information into PeopleSoft
  • Ensures all Associate Action Forms have appropriate signatures for processing
  • Orders office supplies maintaining par levels
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
  • Experience within the hospitality industry highly desired
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
  • Customer service minded with the ability to interact with people at various levels in the organization
  • Must be creative, ambitious, and able to maintain strict confidentiality and a professional demeanor
  • Must be highly detail oriented and organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Desire to continue with growth within Human Resources field
