Key Responsibilities
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness Oversee financial reporting, billing, and compliance, instilling accountability across the team Drive process improvements and implement scalable systems to support a high-growth environment Partner with senior leadership to provide visibility into financial results and support strategic decision-making Serve as a change leader-strengthening controls, improving efficiency, and building a culture of accountability within accounting Prepare the organization for future liquidity events or strategic transactions through best-in-class reporting and governance Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Controller or senior accounting leader in a PE-backed or growth-stage environment Strong technical accounting expertise, including revenue recognition in professional services, SaaS, and managed IT Hands-on leader with the ability to run the close, coach the team, and hold others accountable Demonstrated process improvement mindset with a relentless focus on accuracy, timeliness, and scalability Proficiency with systems such as Sage Intacct, ADP, and Concur Experience managing transformation and change within complex, evolving organizations Preference for candidates located in the Central or Eastern time zones
