Responsibilities
Oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations—GL, AP, AR, billing, tax, and audit—ensuring accuracy and compliance. Lead process improvements and implement scalable systems to support rapid growth, including accelerating the month-end close cycle. Partner closely with senior leadership to deliver clear financial insights that inform strategic decisions. Champion change initiatives—enhancing internal controls, driving efficiency, and fostering a culture of accountability. Build and elevate a high-performing accounting team through assessment, training, and thoughtful restructuring. Manage post-acquisition integration efforts, aligning processes and systems across multiple acquisitions. Optimize financial systems and maximize ERP functionality to improve reporting and operational performance. Qualifications
Proven success as a Controller or senior accounting leader within a private equity-backed environment. Strong technical accounting expertise, including revenue recognition within technology services or software. Hands-on leadership style—comfortable running the close, coaching the team, and holding stakeholders accountable. Demonstrated track record of process improvement with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and scalability. Proficiency in systems such as Sage Intacct, ADP, and Concur, including system implementation and optimization. Experience leading transformation and organizational change in complex, fast-evolving environments. Seniority level
