Overview
We are looking for a Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) Electronic Workflow Analyst (Training & Onboarding Support) to support the client’s statewide modernization initiatives. This role will focus on training, onboarding, and change management for municipal police departments and other criminal justice partners adopting the CISS Electronic Workflow. The successful candidate will engage directly with law enforcement personnel, IT staff, and system vendors, providing both onsite and remote support across Connecticut.

Key Responsibilities
- Training & Certification
- Deliver in-person, remote, and hybrid training sessions for CISS electronic workflow users.
- Lead “train-the-trainer” programs to build sustainable departmental training capacity.
- Onboarding & Change Management
- Coordinate onboarding sessions, kickoff meetings, and role-mapping workshops with municipal police departments.
- Conduct User Impact Assessments (UIA) and Rehearsal of Concept (ROC) drills to ensure operational readiness before go-live.
- Business Analyst Support
- Guide departments in updating local workflows to align with statewide standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a liaison between CJIS-CT, DESPP, CPCA, municipal police departments, and RMS vendors.
- Capture and escalate agency feedback to improve workflows, training, and system performance.
- System Integration & Support
- Collaborate with RMS vendors (NexGen, Accucom IMC, Inform, ProPhoenix, etc.) to ensure departments are workflow-ready.
- Support additional CISS initiatives such as Clean Slate processing, Early Arrest Notifications, and MVP feature rollouts.
- Reporting
- Prepare and submit weekly progress reports, highlighting activities, issues, and recommendations for leadership.
Required Skills & Experience
- Background in public safety or criminal justice, preferably law enforcement.
- Familiarity with law enforcement workflows, RMS systems, and CJIS applications.
- Understanding of CISS electronic workflow components (arrest packages, bond forms, Clean Slate, MVP, etc.).
- Strong skills in training delivery, facilitation, and technical communication (verbal and written).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, and remote training platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel across Connecticut with a valid driver’s license (some evenings/weekends required).
