Position Summary The Research Specialist - Board Certified Behavior Analyst will contribute to the operation and development of a university-based Applied Behavior Analysis clinic serving children with autism and other developmental disabilities that serves as a research, training, and clinical center. The position contributes to the design, delivery, interpretation, and improvement of research protocols and methods.

Duties & Responsibilities Collaborate with faculty to develop research protocols that integrate into clinical programming, including data collection, Institutional Review Board compliance, and dissemination of findings Design and implement program evaluation strategies that assess clinic impact and effectiveness. Conduct assessments, develop interventions and treatment plans, and write reports to ensure compliance with ethical & funding guidelines Explore and implement innovative Applied Behavior Analysis procedures including the application of Relational Frame Theory and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy within the clinic. Design and implement program evaluation strategies that assess clinic impact and effectiveness, using single-subject or group design methodologies where appropriate -Provide clinical oversight and case management for a caseload of clients receiving Applied Behavior Analysis-based services, ensuring fidelity of evidence-based practice and treatment progress. Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinic procedures and systems to ensure alignment with best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis and the evolving needs of the population served Contribute material, prepare results and assist in the writing of research findings for publications, papers, presentations, grants, and other documents for publication. Assists faculty in grant/publication submission Manage day-to-day office operations. Interview, hire, orient, lead, _x000d_mentor and evaluate staff to meet departmental and organizational _x000d_needs Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in social science or related field required. Master's degree in social science preferred. A minimum of 3 years related research experience. Possesses and applies advanced knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices and methods

Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in related field Experience in applied r research, program evaluation, or data driven service Knowledge of Relational Frame Theory or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy based theories Skills in software for data collection of behavioral interventions, Basic skills in Institutional Review Board, research fidelity, and data collection storage Track record in communicating with individuals with disabilities and their families. Ability to recruit families and and develop and follow intervention and clinical protocols
