Production Control Coordinator

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Data Management: Effectively communicates, with various departments, the work schedule based on priorities and the availability of raw materials and production capacity, functions as an expediter Continually monitors the scheduling window in our ERP system and level loads production floor Communicates, as needed, with procurement to ensure orders are scheduled to be completed and sent back on time. When necessary, adds steps to work orders for rework purposes and actions the RMA process Conveys delays, past/late orders or possible bottle necks to the Plant Manager in order to determine actions necessary to complete delays, past due or late orders as soon as possible. Creates and utilizes the bookings report Utilizes MRP and Visual ERP Sytem as necessary Contributes to the value stream mapping project Purchasing:
Generate purchase orders for required outside services based on production orders. Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with vendors. Track and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials. Maintain good working relationships with key vendors. Verify order accuracy with vendors and address any discrepancies promptly. Other duties as assigned SKILLS and ABILITIES
Ability to communicate well with co-workers and management. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of an ERP system. General computer skills including the ability to use Excel and other Microsoft Office business products. Must have the ability to multi-task and maintain an organized environment. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Minimum High School Diploma / GED, Associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field preferred Experience working with an MRP/ERP environment preferred Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Move/Lift/Carry up to 40 lbs
