Senior Water Resources Engineer
to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to innovative and impactful water resource management projects either in

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping water resource projects, driving technical excellence, and mentoring junior staff. The compensation for this role goes up to $190K for the most experienced candidate.
Responsibilities: •
Project Management : Lead and oversee water resources engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring all project milestones, budgets, and timelines are met. •
Design and Analysis : Develop designs for stormwater management systems, hydraulic modeling, floodplain analysis, and water quality management solutions. Use industry-standard software to perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses. •
Client Interaction : Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure satisfaction and successful project delivery. •
Mentorship and Leadership : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff, offering support on both technical and professional development. •
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all designs and projects comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including environmental permits and land use approvals. •
Report Preparation : Prepare detailed technical reports, including feasibility studies, design documents, and permitting applications, to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders. •
Collaboration : Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, environmental scientists, and planners, to deliver integrated water resource solutions. •
Business Development : Contribute to proposals, attend industry events, and help grow the firm's presence in the water resources sector.
Requirements: •
Education : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. •
Experience : Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in water resources engineering, with a focus on stormwater management, hydraulic modeling, and environmental consulting. •
Licensure : Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or the ability to obtain licensure within a specified time frame. •
Technical Skills : Proficiency in industry-standard software, including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, and AutoCAD Civil 3D. Experience with GIS and ArcMap is a plus. •
Knowledge : In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal water resources regulations, including the Clean Water Act, and best practices for sustainable water management. •
Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical concepts to clients and stakeholders. •
Leadership : Proven ability to manage and mentor teams, providing technical leadership while fostering a collaborative environment. •
Travel : Occasional travel to project sites and client meetings within Pennsylvania and New Jersey as required.
