Greenwich United Way Reading Champion Volunteer

Greenwich United Way's Reading Champions is focused on building the students’ fluency and comprehension skills. Volunteer commitment is 1 hour weekly at the same time for 1-to-1 sessions to progress the skills of emerging readers. Our team of 120+ trained volunteers tutor 400 children in all 11 Greenwich Public Elementary Schools and 5 After-School Programs. Volunteers receive all training and materials to support their students weekly from late fall/winter through May.
